Jessica Albert, M.S. Ed.
Executive Function Coach and Academic Tutor
Jessica is an Executive Function Coach and Academic Tutor who is passionate about empowering students through progressive learning. For nearly 20 years, she has worked with students across New York’s Hudson Valley, tailoring her approach to meet each student's unique needs. Jessica believes that developing strong executive function skills—including organization, planning, and self-motivation—not only sets students up for academic success but also fosters lifelong learning and personal growth.
With a Master of Education degree focused on Humanistic Studies from the State University of New Paltz, Jessica has worked with students ranging from 3rd grade to college, blending academic coaching with a student-centered approach that taps into each student's interests. From math and reading to writing and science, Jessica ensures that her students aren’t just learning for the classroom, they're learning for life.
While Jessica specializes in mathematics, her true passion is helping students understand how problem-solving and critical thinking can open doors to future opportunities. She is especially dedicated to strengthening students' executive function skills, which are the key to managing tasks, setting and achieving goals, and staying motivated. By focusing on these core abilities, Jessica helps students not just succeed in their studies, but also build the confidence and resilience they need to thrive in all their endeavors.
Outside of teaching, you’ll often find Jessica enjoying time in her garden, hiking through scenic state parks with her family and friends, or selling her homemade crafts at local farmer’s markets.
