Alexandra Lawrence, MAT, MSW, is a Social Learning Coach at Frankenberger Associates Learning Solutions Center. She has more than ten years of experience as a special education teacher, high school counselor, and executive functioning coach. Alexandra received her Bachelor’s Degree from NYU, and then joined Teach For America as a special education teacher, where she specialized in academic and executive functioning interventions for students with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and learning disabilities. She furthered her education, earning a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree with a focus on exceptional education from Relay Graduate School of Education.

As a result, she pursued and earned an MSW in School Counseling from Washington University in St. Louis. After graduating, Alexandra founded the school counseling program at a high school in Nashville, TN. During the past seven years, she has provided counseling and social-emotional interventions to almost a thousand students. Alexandra is a tireless and empathetic advocate for every one of her students, and most importantly, she teaches them how to advocate for themselves. She recognizes that great communication with students and their families is key to long-term success.
In her personal life, Alexandra is an avid soccer fan and loves to watch Liverpool games with her husband and baby girl! She also loves to cook, make people laugh, and spend time outside.
