Psychoeducational Evaluation
Our psychoeducational evaluations are designed to provide a highly detailed picture of each student’s cognitive and academic functioning. This is accomplished through obtaining a developmental history, parent and teacher reports, completed questionnaires, and through the comprehensive testing that is administered. We provide an extensive written report that documents test results and full clarification of the student’s strengths and areas of challenge. We also provide specific recommendations, strategies and resources to address each student’s unique needs.

Educational Evaluation
The goal of an educational evaluation is to assess a student’s academic performance in the areas of reading, written language and math, and to better understand her/his areas of academic strength and challenge. Again, we take an in-depth inquiry, perform a record review and administer a comprehensive battery of tests.

Our comprehensive reading evaluations are designed to evaluate a student’s reading and written language skills, as well as, to examine the underlying areas of language that most often interfere with the reading process - phonological processing, language expression and retrieval, vocabulary knowledge and comprehension. Based on test results, we identify the most appropriate and effective evidenced based solutions to meet the needs of each student.

Clinical Evaluation
At Frankenberger Associates we conduct clinical evaluations in order to obtain an in-depth understanding of an individual’s global functioning. Completing a clinical assessment takes approximately 2 hours in person with the individual being evaluated, along with additional time to gather relevant information from parents. The evaluation serves as a guideline for treatment and ensures that the individual receives the appropriate level of care.

Occupational Therapy Evaluation
At Frankenberger Associates, we conduct extensive occupational therapy-based evaluations that examine your child’s strengths and challenges in performing daily activities, in order to help them develop the necessary skills for everyday life.
Using evidence-based assessments, observation, and clinical reasoning, we can identify areas where your child is experiencing difficulties and provide the best solutions to ensure success. Based on evaluation results, the therapist, your child and the family will construct a treatment plan based on the needs of you and your child.
