Frankenberger Associates, LLC, is an established private practice that provides evaluations, consultations, and services for our clients and their families. We are seeking a full or part-time clinical psychologist or pediatric neuropsychologist to provide psychoeducational/neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults.

We are expanding our Learning Solutions Center and we are seeking a motivated, collegial professional, who wants to join a team of evaluators, coaches/tutors, counselors, cognitive trainers, and occupational therapists. We specialize in the evaluation and treatment of dyslexia, ADHD, executive functioning, processing and working memory deficits, ASD, and other learning differences. We are seeking a clinical psychologist/neuropsychologist who will add to the knowledge, expertise, passion, warmth, and the collaborative nature with which we work together, to change the lives, and improve outcomes for our clients and their families.

Who we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with a range of neurodevelopmental disorders as well as the ability to communicate effectively with families, schools, and other referral sources.

Qualifications:

  • Have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology (Psy.D., or Ph.D.)

  • Be licensed to practice (or license-eligible) in the State of Connecticut

Learning Specialist - Executive Function Coach/Tutor - not currently hiring

Description:

Frankenberger Associates, LLC, Learning Solutions Center is seeking a Learning Specialist - Executive Function Coach/Tutor who can provide executive functioning and academic interventions to children, teens, and young adults with learning challenges, differences, and disabilities.

Qualifications:

For this consultant position, a master’s degree in the field of education or a closely related field is required. The applicant must have experience in and knowledge about educational programs and interventions in the areas of executive functioning, reading comprehension and written expression, keen organizational and communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand the learner in front of you – cognitively, academically, socially and emotionally

  • Create comprehensive plans that identify the student’s cognitive, academic, executive functioning, and social-emotional strengths and weaknesses

  • Help students develop time management and organizational skills using external organizers to manage school and work assignments

  • Must know a variety of programs and tools to teach written language, reading comprehension, and organizational skills

  • Teach reading strategies for improved comprehension

  • Teach the writing process for improved written expression

  • Teach technology aids to facilitate learning for academic subjects

  • Understand and be familiar with a variety of educational platforms/student portals

  • Collaborate with important individuals in student’s life (parents, therapist, teachers)

  • Coach to develop goal-setting and self-advocacy skills

  • Assist parents in understanding their child’s cognitive and academic profiles

The Social Emotional Learning Program at FA is expanding, and we are seeking a motivated, collegial professional to join our team of evaluators, counselors, coaches/tutors, cognitive trainers, and occupational therapists. We specialize in the evaluation and treatment of dyslexia, ADHD, executive functioning, processing and working memory deficits, ASD, and other learning differences. We are seeking a Social Skills Coach who will add to the knowledge, expertise, passion, warmth, and collaborative nature of our team, all in the service of improving outcomes for our clients and their families.

Who we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with a range of neurodevelopmental disorders as well as the ability to communicate effectively with families, schools, and other referral sources. The Social Skills Coach will be responsible for facilitating evidence-based social skills groups and one-on-one virtual training for children, teens and young adults who struggle socially due to ADHD, high functioning autism, or specific social learning challenges. The successful candidate will have strong experience in teaching and facilitating social emotional learning and will be responsible for implementing the 14-week FA social skills program. The candidate will work closely with our team to ensure that children, teens, and young adults develop the skills they need to successfully navigate their social world.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., education, psychology, social work, counseling)

2. Experience working with children, adolescents and young adults with social communication challenges due to ADHD, high functioning autism, or social learning challenges

3. Strong knowledge of social emotional learning and evidence-based social skills interventions: a social cognition program that addresses social emotional learning through a cognitive behavioral approach, and/or the PEERS® social skills program

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team

6. Experience with maintaining weekly client documentation on a digital platform

7. Flexibility while working with students both to empathetically support clients while simultaneously being able to highlight their areas of social weaknesses

8. Have experience with virtual teaching/presenting

9. Confidence while presenting to clients, parents, and outside providers
