I loved this course and wish everyone at Middlebridge could take it. For folks entering into the profession or looking to have an update on learning challenges, the videos and supplementary readings were on point. I loved the processing speed and working memory videos as so often people do not realize how this impacts the learner. The EF video was excellent and tangible as was the strategies for teachers. I'm so glad I took the Understanding Diverse Learning Profiles course. It introduced some ideas that were new to me, and also brought clarity and cohesion to ideas that I had picked up along the way, but didn’t have a context for. I gained greater fluency in the concepts and terminology that my colleagues in learning support use routinely, so I’m now better prepared to engage in meaningful conversation with them about how our school supports students. I have had the pleasure of learning from Caryl Frankenberger for almost fifteen years, witnessing firsthand her expertise and unwavering commitment to neurodiverse learners. Caryl has the ability to make complex concepts about learning and cognitive development accessible—a skill I first observed in 2010 during one of her presentations, where she captivated a packed auditorium of educators with ease. Her work has left a lasting impact on me and countless others, empowering students, families, and professionals with the tools and understanding they need to thrive in their strengths.

I cannot speak more highly of their programming. I am both a mental health professional and mom of an ASD kiddo. It is expensive, but it is money well spent. Additionally, the overall cost is comparable to what you would spend in an average market for a therapist who does private pay. We are hoping to continue on with their services after our 14-week program is over. As a mom, I highly recommend this because of the growth I’ve seen in my son and the tools I’ve gained. As a professional, I have no qualms about referring folks to them.

All seems to be progressing well, small changes leading to better overall functioning, less anxiety and more productivity are the goals being addressed. Looking forward to continued improvement.
