Social Skills Bundle

Bundle Overview

Many children struggle socially not because they don’t want to connect—but because they lack the skills to navigate conversations, understand social cues, and communicate appropriately.

The Social Skills Bundle combines Making Friends, Social Filter, and Reading the Room to give you a complete, practical approach to helping your child build and maintain meaningful relationships. Instead of awkward interactions, missed cues, or saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, your child will begin to connect with others more confidently and effectively.

This bundle breaks down complex social skills into simple, practical strategies you can use in everyday situations—at home, in school, and in the community—so your child can build stronger relationships, improve communication, and feel more confident socially.

What Your Child Will Learn

By the end of this bundle, you will be able to help your child:

1. Start and Build Friendships
Teach your child how to initiate interactions, engage in conversations, and develop meaningful peer connections.

2. Understand Social Cues and Context
Help your child recognize body language, tone, and situational cues so they can better understand what’s happening around them.

3. Think Before Speaking and Communicate More Appropriately
Support your child in filtering their thoughts and adjusting their words based on the situation.

4. Navigate Social Interactions With Greater Confidence
Guide your child in responding more effectively in real-life situations, leading to smoother and more positive social experiences.

I am thrilled to share my experience after receiving my certificate from Frankenberger Associates in Understanding Diverse Learning Profiles. This course has truly transformed my approach to working with prospective and current families, as well as lower and middle school faculty, learning support staff, and administration. The valuable tools and insights I gained have deepened my understanding of diverse learning profiles, allowing me to speak confidently and knowledgeably about my candidates. This has fostered trust and collaboration within our community, making a significant impact on our partnerships. I wholeheartedly recommend this course to admission professionals and anyone involved in supporting students....

Helen Williams, Director of Admission Pre-Kindergarten-Grade 8, Rutgers Preparatory Prep

Eagle Hill School and I personally have worked with Frankenberger Associates for over twenty years, and I have enjoyed and benefited greatly from our incredibly long and strong relationship. Caryl Frankenberger is a trusted and knowledgeable colleague and friend. Many years ago, Caryl gave a presentation to the EHS faculty on cognitive testing, and to this day, I am grateful to Caryl for this presentation. I have worked with Caryl and have likely read more than 100 of her evaluations in considering her clients for EHS. Caryl’s evaluations are well-written and help the reader to get...

The workshops that Frankenberger Associates have provided to our entire faculty and individual teachers has strengthened the professional skills and knowledge of the educators at Woodhall. Connecting theory and practice with an appealing mix of lucidity and common sense, Caryl and her colleagues engaged with our school community in a way that is accessible and applicable.

Matthew Woodhall, Head of School, Woodhall School

I have had the pleasure of learning from Caryl Frankenberger for almost fifteen years, witnessing firsthand her expertise and unwavering commitment to neurodiverse learners. Caryl has the ability to make complex concepts about learning and cognitive development accessible—a skill I first observed in 2010 during one of her presentations, where she captivated a packed auditorium of educators with ease. Her work has left a lasting impact on me and countless others, empowering students, families, and professionals with the tools and understanding they need to thrive in their strengths.

This course was exactly what I needed to feel more confident in my role as Director of Academic Support. The modules were comprehensive and practical with supporting materials to reinforce the topics. The fact that I can continue to access the videos and readings upon completing the course has been a fantastic resource for me. All educators would benefit from this course.

Leslie Creus, Director of Academic Support/EAL Department Head

This 6-module online course is the best training I have ever participated in. As an IEC who provides high school and college consulting for students who have specific learning, cognitive and/or developmental challenges, the course deepened my understanding of learning challenges, and my ability to read and interpret evaluations. I developed new questioning techniques to discern my students’ learning strengths, average abilities, and challenges, and I watched the videos and read the supplemental articles on my own timeline, there was no pressure. Quite simply, this course was a game changer for me, and I think it will be the same...

Leslie Creus, Director of Academic Support/EAl Department Head, EF Academy

I loved this course and wish everyone at Middlebridge could take it. For folks entering into the profession or looking to have an update on learning challenges, the videos and supplementary readings were on point. I loved the processing speed and working memory videos as so often people do not realize how this impacts the learner. The EF video was excellent and tangible as was the strategies for teachers. It is very rare when you have a PD with actual strategies offered. I loved the evaluation section and questions to be posed by admissions professionals and teachers in the classroom...

Sara Callahan, Academic Dean, Middlebridge School

I'm so glad I took the Understanding Diverse Learning Profiles course. It introduced some ideas that were new to me, and also brought clarity and cohesion to ideas that I had picked up along the way, but didn’t have a context for. I gained greater fluency in the concepts and terminology that my colleagues in learning support use routinely, so I’m now better prepared to engage in meaningful conversation with them about how our school supports students. The readings and videos were varied and thought-provoking, and the regular meetings with the cohort and the instructors were helpful, motivating, and fun! The...
