Social Skills Bundle

Bundle Overview

Many children struggle socially not because they don’t want to connect—but because they lack the skills to navigate conversations, understand social cues, and communicate appropriately.

The Social Skills Bundle combines Making Friends, Social Filter, and Reading the Room to give you a complete, practical approach to helping your child build and maintain meaningful relationships. Instead of awkward interactions, missed cues, or saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, your child will begin to connect with others more confidently and effectively.

This bundle breaks down complex social skills into simple, practical strategies you can use in everyday situations—at home, in school, and in the community—so your child can build stronger relationships, improve communication, and feel more confident socially.

What Your Child Will Learn

By the end of this bundle, you will be able to help your child:

1. Start and Build Friendships
Teach your child how to initiate interactions, engage in conversations, and develop meaningful peer connections.

2. Understand Social Cues and Context
Help your child recognize body language, tone, and situational cues so they can better understand what’s happening around them.

3. Think Before Speaking and Communicate More Appropriately
Support your child in filtering their thoughts and adjusting their words based on the situation.

4. Navigate Social Interactions With Greater Confidence
Guide your child in responding more effectively in real-life situations, leading to smoother and more positive social experiences.

I have had the pleasure of learning from Caryl Frankenberger for almost fifteen years, witnessing firsthand her expertise and unwavering commitment to neurodiverse learners. Caryl has the ability to make complex concepts about learning and cognitive development accessible—a skill I first observed in 2010 during one of her presentations, where she captivated a packed auditorium of educators with ease. Her work has left a lasting impact on me and countless others, empowering students, families, and professionals with the tools and understanding they need to thrive in their strengths.

I am so happy I took the 6 module Understanding Diverse Learning Profile course. I am an Executive Assistant working at Frankenberger Associates and I wanted to take the course to better understand FA’s services. The course was outstanding. From the perspective of someone who is a parent, and not an educator, I gained an enormous amount of knowledge about executive functioning, social skills, evaluation and brain training. I learned about the intricacies of understanding student learning profiles and I loved the videos about working memory, processing speed, ADHD and Dyslexia. Learning about the brain was fascinating and I left...

My student, while a relatively new client of Frankenberger Associates, is already finding work with his coach to be helpful and effective.

Understanding Diverse Learning Profiles is a wonderful study of student learning profiles, misconceptions, types of assessments to determine how students learn, reading psychoeducational testing reports, and classroom supports. It is a course that brings together the needs and perspectives of the admission team, classroom educators, and learning support professionals to create a stronger student success model. As a veteran admission professional, it provided me with insight to better understand the needs of our applicants and students. I am much more confident in my ability to read and understand testing reports and how a learning profile may present in the classroom....

The combination of brain training and executive functioning support that Frankenberger Associates and Oxford Academy have collaborated on over the years has always been a resounding success. Caryl and her team are experts in helping students see major improvements in focus, organization, and memory, making daily tasks and long-term goals feel so much more manageable. I can’t recommend them enough for anyone wanting to strengthen cognitive skills and executive functioning!

I loved this course and wish everyone at Middlebridge could take it. For folks entering into the profession or looking to have an update on learning challenges, the videos and supplementary readings were on point. I loved the processing speed and working memory videos as so often people do not realize how this impacts the learner. The EF video was excellent and tangible as was the strategies for teachers. It is very rare when you have a PD with actual strategies offered. I loved the evaluation section and questions to be posed by admissions professionals and teachers in the classroom...

Sara Callahan, Academic Dean, Middlebridge School

I'm so glad I took the Understanding Diverse Learning Profiles course. It introduced some ideas that were new to me, and also brought clarity and cohesion to ideas that I had picked up along the way, but didn’t have a context for. I gained greater fluency in the concepts and terminology that my colleagues in learning support use routinely, so I’m now better prepared to engage in meaningful conversation with them about how our school supports students. The readings and videos were varied and thought-provoking, and the regular meetings with the cohort and the instructors were helpful, motivating, and fun! The...

Becky Amis, Director of Admissions, St. Edmunds Academy

This 6-module online certificate course is the best training I have ever participated in. As an IEC who provides high school and college consulting for students who have specific learning, cognitive and/or developmental challenges, the course deepened my understanding of learning challenges, and my ability to read and interpret evaluations. I developed new questioning techniques to discern my students' learning strengths, average abilities, and challenges. I watched videos and read the supplemental articles on my own timeline, there was no pressure. Quite simply, this course was a game changer for me and I think it will be the same for...
