Empowering Schools with Targeted Professional Development

Our Understanding Diverse Learning Profiles (UDLP) course equips educators, admissions professionals, and Independent Educational Consultants with the knowledge and strategies to better support neurodiverse learners. This 7-module online program covers executive functioning, social-emotional learning, psychoeducational evaluations, and practical classroom strategies to help create more inclusive learning environments.

How We Can Work Together

The UDLP course is designed for groups and institutions as well as individual professionals. Schools, admissions teams, and educational consultants can use the course to build staff knowledge, strengthen inclusive practices, and apply strategies directly with students.

For organizations enrolling five or more participants, we offer the option to host group sessions that provide space for questions, discussion, and deeper application of course concepts.

Equipping Parents with Practical Tools

We know schools don’t explicitly teach executive function or social skills, yet these are the foundations of academic and personal success. Our On-Demand Parent Courses are affordable, 30-minute trainings that give families practical strategies and worksheets they can use right away — all from the comfort of home.

I am so happy I took the 6 module Understanding Diverse Learning Profile course. I am an Executive Assistant working at Frankenberger Associates and I wanted to take the course to better understand FA’s services. The course was outstanding. From the perspective of someone who is a parent, and not an educator, I gained an enormous amount of knowledge about executive functioning, social skills, evaluation and brain training. I learned about the intricacies of understanding student learning profiles and I loved the videos about working memory, processing speed, ADHD and Dyslexia. Learning about the brain was fascinating and I left...

I loved this course and wish everyone at Middlebridge could take it. For folks entering into the profession or looking to have an update on learning challenges the videos and supplementary readings were on point. I loved the processing speed and working memory videos as so often people do not realize how this impacts the learner. The EF video was excellent and tangible as was the strategies for teachers. It is very rare when you have PD with actual strategies offered. I loved the evaluation section, and the questions to be posed by admissions professionals and teachers in the classroom...

My student, while a relatively new client of Frankenberger Associates, is already finding work with his coach to be helpful and effective.

Eagle Hill School and I personally have worked with Frankenberger Associates for over twenty years, and I have enjoyed and benefited greatly from our incredibly long and strong relationship. Caryl Frankenberger is a trusted and knowledgeable colleague and friend. Many years ago, Caryl gave a presentation to the EHS faculty on cognitive testing, and to this day, I am grateful to Caryl for this presentation. I have worked with Caryl and have likely read more than 100 of her evaluations in considering her clients for EHS. Caryl’s evaluations are well-written and help the reader to get...

Dana Harbert, Director of Admissions – Eagle Hill School

I have had the pleasure of learning from Caryl Frankenberger for almost fifteen years, witnessing firsthand her expertise and unwavering commitment to neurodiverse learners. Caryl has the ability to make complex concepts about learning and cognitive development accessible—a skill I first observed in 2010 during one of her presentations, where she captivated a packed auditorium of educators with ease. Her work has left a lasting impact on me and countless others, empowering students, families, and professionals with the tools and understanding they need to thrive in their strengths.

Aria Carter, Director of Admissions, Greenwood School

This 6-module online certificate course is the best training I have ever participated in. As an IEC who provides high school and college consulting for students who have specific learning, cognitive and/or developmental challenges, the course deepened my understanding of learning challenges, and my ability to read and interpret evaluations. I developed new questioning techniques to discern my students' learning strengths, average abilities, and challenges. I watched videos and read the supplemental articles on my own timeline, there was no pressure. Quite simply, this course was a game changer for me and I think it will be the same for...

This course was exactly what I needed to feel more confident in my role as Director of Academic Support. The modules were comprehensive and practical with supporting materials to reinforce the topics. The fact that I can continue to access the videos and readings upon completing the course has been a fantastic resource for me. All educators would benefit from this course.
