FA Workshops

Executive Skills Foundations

Executive Skills Foundations is a small-group summer workshop that helps rising middle and early high school students build planning, organization, and follow-through skills they use at school and in daily life. Through guided instruction, interactive activities, and real-life application, students learn practical strategies to manage stress, stay organized, use their time more effectively, and build routines that support consistency both in and out of the classroom.

Parents often tell us they want their child to feel more confident, less overwhelmed, and better prepared for the day-to-day demands of school and life. This workshop is designed with that goal in mind.

Summer Reading Lab

Summer Reading Lab is a small-group virtual workshop that helps students complete their summer reading with less stress and more confidence. Meeting twice a week for four weeks, students build practical reading, planning, and accountability skills while learning strategies that improve comprehension, annotation, and follow-through. The goal is not just to finish the book, but to understand it, talk about it, and feel prepared for the school year ahead.

Parents often tell us summer reading becomes a source of tension or avoidance. This workshop is designed to turn it into a manageable, supported process instead.
