About Vin

Vin Kachurik is a seasoned Executive Function coach with a background in collegiate-level education and private tutoring. They received their Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Hiram College, and their Master’s of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Kent State University. Vin has nearly 15 years experience teaching creative and academic writing at the college level from various institutions all over the Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania areas, as well as experience advising, tutoring, and editing.

As a writing professor and instructor, Vin worked primarily with early college students to help them develop understanding, creativity, and self-confidence in their own writing. It is this experience, and passion for empowering others that led Vin to Executive Function coaching.

As a coach, but also as a caregiver and story-teller, Vin has several years experience working with early adults and professionals, and excels at relating and demystifying the complexities of Executive Function through accessible devices such as narrative, metaphor, philosophy, even games. Their aim is to help their clients leverage existing skills and aptitudes toward overcoming struggles and achieving goals, whether that be academic, professional, personal, or all of the above.

When not coaching, Vin enjoys writing, reading, running, baking, tabletop roleplaying games, snuggling with their cat, and taking long walks with their spouse.
