About Margo

Margo is a seasoned Special Educator at Frankenberger Associates with over 16 years of experience working with students who have diverse learning needs, including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Education from Salve Regina University and a Master of Science in Special Education from Southern Connecticut State University, Margo is certified in both K-8 Elementary and K-12 Special Education.
Margo employs her extensive expertise to support students individually and in small groups, helping them develop essential social skills to understand and interact with the world around them effectively. She is trained in Michelle Garcia Winner’s Social Thinking® methodology and is a PEERS® certified professional. Margo integrates both methods into her practice to enhance her students’ ability to make meaningful connections, both within and outside of school environments.

Margo is not only an advocate for her students but also a strong supporter of family systems, working tirelessly to engage and support families in understanding and nurturing their children’s educational and developmental needs. Her commitment extends beyond teaching; she is actively involved in enhancing educational practices through her participation in various school committees and professional development workshops.
Outside of her professional life, Margo enjoys exploring the Connecticut Shoreline with her husband and two children. Their family activities include hiking, visiting the beach, and enjoying outdoor adventures together.

Margo’s dedication and passion for special education makes her a valuable member of the Frankenberger Associates team, where she continues to make a significant impact on the lives of her students and their families.

Trusted by Genius People

Frankenberger Associates has had the privilege of helping hundreds of families, schools, and students transform their learning experience.

I wanted to reach out to let you know that today we received a lovely letter from our son’s teacher commending him on being chosen as a student of the month. We are so proud of him, and also so grateful for the work that you did with him over the summer and at the beginning of the year to set him up for what has been his best school year! He has become more confident in who he is, and has used that to both broaden his friend network and stand up for himself. Thank you Margo.

Parent

Margo was a fabulous learning coach. She developed a strong rapport with my son right from the start, and he always looked forward to working with her. She communicated consistently and effectively with me as a parent and used thoughtful, targeted strategies to help my son better grasp and understand the skills he was learning.
