About Jessica

Jessica is an Executive Function Coach and Academic Tutor who is passionate about empowering students through progressive learning. For nearly 20 years, she has worked with students across New York’s Hudson Valley, tailoring her approach to meet each child’s unique needs. She believes that developing strong executive function skills—including organization, planning, and self-motivation—not only sets students up for academic success but also fosters lifelong learning, confidence, and resilience.

With a Master of Education degree focused on Humanistic Studies from the State University of New Paltz, Jessica began individual tutoring in 2005. Since then, she has worked with students ranging from 3rd grade to college and beyond, blending academic coaching with a student-centered approach that taps into each individual’s interests. While Jessica specializes in mathematics, her true passion is helping students understand how problem-solving and critical thinking can open doors to future opportunities. By fostering these skills, Jessica empowers students to approach challenges with confidence and curiosity, helping them thrive in both academic and real-world settings.

Jessica also provides a range of services for adult clients, including assistance navigating career transitions, maintaining a work-life balance, and establishing routines that keep household tasks on track. She equips clients with effective strategies to stay organized and productive in their daily lives. Her skill-building approach emphasizes practical solutions tailored to each individual’s unique goals and lifestyle, empowering them to achieve their ambitions and maintain long-term success.

Outside of teaching, you’ll often find Jessica enjoying time in her garden, hiking through scenic state parks with her family and friends, or selling her handmade crafts at local farmer’s markets.
