For seven years, she provided counseling and social-emotional interventions to over a thousand students. Alexandra is a tireless and empathetic advocate for every one of her clients, and most importantly, she teaches them how to advocate for themselves. She recognizes that great communication with students and their families is key to long-term success.

In her personal life, Alexandra is an avid soccer fan and loves to watch Liverpool games with her husband and baby girl! She also loves to cook, make people laugh, and spend time outside.

Frankenberger Associates has had the privilege of helping hundreds of families, schools, and students transform their learning experience.

Truthfully, we are so impressed with everything Allie and my son were able to accomplish. It was clear to me very early on that she understood him as a learner and thinker. Allie’s approach made him feel both safe and confident so that he could put in the hard work. He is happier at school pick up, getting invited to more things and seems generally more at ease.

We loved our experience. Allie was our coach and she was amazing. I was unsure about how my son would do in the virtual environment because we had tried that before and it didn’t go well. Allie made an instant connection with him and he never fought me to attend the sessions. It was work and he was tired after the sessions but he saw the value and was able to implement the strategies that Allie taught him. Allie did a great job of setting goals for him and then communicating the goals with me. She always debriefed with my son which was great because he doesn’t always want to do that with me and then she was able to communicate with me what they discussed. We found our time with FA valuable and we are hopeful that our son will continue to implement the strategies he has learned.

My daughter has been working with Allie in the social skills program. From the moment they had their first conversation, Allie was able to form a great connection, which allowed for being able to build trust almost immediately and allowed for a safe environment to be able to have honest and open conversations. I have seen my daughter grow so much since she began working with Allie. It is obvious that she truly cares about her clients. Working with her has been a wonderful experience for both my daughter and myself.

Working with Frankenberger Associates and particularly with Allie Lawrence has been a gift to our whole family. Allie started working with our son who has significant ADHD and EF challenges this past spring and is helping him as he transitions to college life this fall. At every meeting, Allie meets him right where he is: she is kind, warm, thoughtful, intelligent, caring, and while we feel his resistance from time to time, he adores Allie and knows she is steadfastly in his corner as a mentor, coach and with her unbelievable patience and care, he is marching ever forward to adulthood with concrete skills and growing confidence. We love Allie so much, we mentioned her gifts to our 21-year old daughter (a senior in college) and she immediately said, "I want to work with her too!" She now meets with Allie weekly to work both on assuring her academic successes, identifying and meeting challenges at university, motivation and organization struggles, and together they are plotting out next steps for her post college-life/career path. All this is to say, Allie has given my husband and I a chance to step back from a parent/child dynamic of advising that is not always appreciated so that we can focus more on supporting and loving and holding without chronic advising or getting to heavily in their business. We are so grateful to what she gives our family. Everybody deserves an Allie in their life. She is amazing beyond belief.
